DEPRESSION

I don't understand why I feel down all the time. Getting up in the morning is hard - I'm so useless!

Feeling down all the time can be hard, and talking about it will help you work on  motivation. Trying to  be a  bit more active and social can be  positive experiences.

When you say things such as  "I am useless", stop, take a deep breath and think about what things you're good at and how you can empower yourself to believe, "I am useful".

The Black Dog Institute has created the youth program 'Bite Back' where you can amplify the good in your life, share with others, check out videos, blogs and interviews, check and track your mental fitness, and do lots of activities!

MoodGYM is an interactive program that helps you explore why you feel the way you do, changing the way you think, understanding what makes you upset and assertiveness and interpersonal skills.
